All funds raised in the the live auction will directly to community organizations. The Boise Southwest Rotary Foundation grant program supports local community needs. Much of the club's grants have gone to low-income and underprivileged school age programs and their families such as: 

• Whittier and Whitney Elementary Schools projects, including backpacks, youth empowerment, swim lessons and more.

• Giraffe Laugh Early Learning Centers, providing “Zoophonics” programs to encourage early childhood reading.'

• Make-A-Wish Idaho, granting wishes to children with critical illnesses.

Along with the live auction, Boise SW Rotary Foundation is hosting a paddle raise to support a rebuilding project in Lahaina, a community of Maui. Residents of Lahaina struggle to find housing and stability in the aftermath of the devasting Lahaina wildfires that ravaged Maui.  With the news media and chaos gone, the hard work of rebuilding lives, communities and infrastructure is just beginning.  

Boise Southwest Rotary is pleased to partner with the Lahaina Rotary to help provide relief their rehabilitation efforts. Homelessness and mental health continue to be a top priority.
